ABOUT MARYLAND HEART & VEIN CENTER

The Vein Center at Maryland Heart is a state-of-the-art, full-service vein center offering patients everything from preventive vein disease screenings and diagnostic tests to surgical and non-surgical treatments for varicose veins, spider veins, venous insufficiency, and venous leg ulcers. With the unsightly appearance of swollen, blue or purple veins that develop as twisted clusters near the surface of the skin, varicose veins are most commonly thought of as a cosmetic affliction. The health of the veins is an important medical issue that deserves the specialized care and expertise only a skilled vascular specialist can provide.

Dr. Sharma is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who can properly diagnose the source of your symptoms and determine the type of treatments that will be most effective. The Vein Center at Maryland Heart offers state-of-the-art treatment for varicose veins and spider veins, a wide range of venous disease, and cardiac and vascular diagnostic testing services. Our team will develop an individualized treatment plan – choosing from a full range of advanced, outpatient procedures – to correct your problems the first time and minimize chances of recurrence. Our goal is to ensure you receive advanced and effective vein care most compassionately, resulting in improved health, well-being and quality of life.

We are a physician group practice of board-certified cardiologists who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. We provide high quality, state of the art, comprehensive cardiovascular care to our patients, their families and the community, within a compassionate and service-oriented environment.
